When I sent you the drawings and description of the work I had in mind, I expected to be chasing you up for the price after a couple of weeks - I was wrong. You came back to me almost immediately with a detailed quotation from which I could see exactly what I would be paying for. This was particularly helpful as, like many clients, my requirements changed - not only before you had started work but also during. There was therefore a basis for agreeing the cost of omissions and extras.

 

During the work itself, you found several problems but you just got on with it and solved them without moaning - (At least within my hearing anyway!!)
