Fixing specialist lighting

Today R.A.M. Electrical Contracting Limited have been fixing specialist lights in a steam room/ sauna at a hotel and conference center near Milton Keynes. Due to the fact that in these locations there is obviously a lot of moisture, and a constant high temperature this means that a standard light fitting would be unsafe as moisture would be able to get inside and potentially make the moisture in the air live!

 

We were able to source the correct fittings for the client, as well as 'tough use' lamps, which are designed to withstand the constant temperatures and not keep blowing after a week or so of use.

 

Following on from our works the client is now able to re-open the two rooms (Which were previously closed due to the fact that there was no lights on) and resume their usual service for their clients.
